From The Offices of Nigel Hall: Nigel Goes Home!

Hey Gang,

Nigel Hall, reporting live from Washington D.C. My hometown! Man, it was so good to be home… I played with Soulive @ the prestigious 9:30 club in D.C. and it was (in my opinion) the best Soulive show I’ve ever been apart of. I invited my family, who showed up in full force to support me. It was a very special show and held a lot of meaning for me. For one, My family has never seen me perform in a setting like this. They were always used to seeing me perform with either snot or boogers (or both) hangin’ out of my nose as a kid. My cousin, Frances said to me after the show (and I quote), “…that was some real grown man shit.” And I really dig that… And I got to play with NEAL on keys together!! In so many words, D.C. showed me SO MUCH LOVE and that’s why I love Chocolate City, I’m reminded of all the things I love about being home… I can’t wait to go back… To my family: I love you all! I was in rare form last night and that performance was for ya’ll! You Guys ROCK!!!
